Edwardsville’s Thanksgiving Day Tradition Is Back!

The 14th Annual Edwardsville Turkey Trot 5k and Kids Fun Run, hosted by Edwardsville Neighbors, is back Thanksgiving morning on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. 

The Edwardsville Turkey Trot has become a family tradition for many locals and families traveling to the area for the holiday. Regularly exceeding 1,200 participants, reaching 1,600 in 2019, the Turkey Trot is one of the region's largest - if not the largest 5k.
