Sit. Stay. RUN!
Even while sheltering in place, you need to get some exercise. And we know those dogs are getting restless and want to get out. Join MEHS for a virtual 5K-support the work the Metro East Humane Society is still doing during COVID-19 and get some exercise at the same time. It's a win-win! Walk, run, and do the 5K ion your own terms. Registration includes a t-shirt that you will receive after shelter in place is over. Encourage your friends & family to sign up to run with you (from a socially acceptable distance!) or if they're not interested in that to donate to your 5K fundraising! All donations support the dogs & cats the Metro East Humane Society is helping.
Send a picture of your results from your 3.1 mile walk or run (from your FitBit, Apple Watch, Garmin, treadmill screen, etc.) to developmentmgr@mehs.org. Results will be posted on April 8, 2020. Awards will be given for fastest time, slowest time, and top fundraiser.
