SWIM

Athletes will line up according to estimated swim pace prior to the start of the race. At 8AM sharp we will start Long Sprint participants one at a time for a 300 yard serpentine swim. Every 5 seconds (approximately) the next athlete crosses the timing mats and jumps in feet first for their swim. Immediately following the long sprint start...Super sprint athletes will go in the same start style (time trial) for their 150 yard swim. 

Bike

Athletes will bike either a 20 mile (Long Sprint/Duathlon) out and back ride, or a 10 Mile (Super Sprint) out and back bike ride. The course has a couple climbs/descents to keep you honest, but races fast overall. We will have multiple officers along the course to aid in athlete safety, but the course is open to traffic. 

Run

Try Tri offers a fantastic run course along the paved paths within the SIUE campus. The routes are flat, and fast. You will have ample shade, and plenty of room to pass folks. Hammer that run and we will be waiting to cheer you in for an epic finish!
