Join us on July 13th for a blast from the past as we transform Tuscan Hills Winery into a nostalgic haven straight out of the 90s.
Dust off those neon headbands and lace up your freshest kicks because something totally rad is hitting Tuscan Hills Winery this summer! Get ready to step back in time to the iconic era of flannel shirts, fanny packs, and boomboxes as we proudly present the 1st Annual Grapevine & Groove 5K! Whether you're a seasoned racer or just looking for a totally tubular way to spend your morning, this event is sure to be a gnarly experience for all!
Picture yourself cruising through picturesque landscape and grooving to the beats of classic 90s jams as you conquer our scenic 5K course. And the fun doesn't stop there! After crossing the finish line, kick back with fellow participants at our righteous post-race celebration featuring music, bites, and, of course, plenty of delicious wine to keep the good vibes flowing.
So, grab your crew, throw on your best 90s gear, and get ready to jog down memory lane at the Grapevine & Groove 5K. It's going to be all that and a bag of chips!

Tuscan Hills Winery began as a big dream of a local family and has blossomed into a place of gathering where people of all ages can relax and have fun. Since officially opening on July 1st, 2011, the winery has become home to numerous weddings, showers, reunions, parties, and weekly musical performances. The owners, Wes and Wanda Pitcher want all visitors to “Come as our guests, leave as our friends.” Tuscan Hills Winery provides an old-world Tuscan feel in the heart of Effingham, Illinois. All of the wines are tastefully crafted and bottled in the wine cellar and wine tastings are available daily. However, if wine isn’t the drink for you, we also offer a full bar, local craft beers, wine-slushies, sangrias, and a variety of food offerings.

5k Race Route
Our paved and partially shaded course features beautiful homes and lots of spots along the course for spectators to cheer on their favorite runners with a wide open view of the finish line from 1/4 mile away will lead to some fast finishes.
