Join us for a family-friendly 5K race and fun run/walk!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 8 a.m. at Busse Woods Grove #32 for a great cause!
The Christus Victor Lutheran Church Food Pantry supports over 60 families each week who come in to “shop” for free. In addition to offering nonperishable and perishable food items, we also offer personal care products and hats and gloves in the winter. This event is going to support our food pantry!
This event is open to the community and will be a family-friendly event. There will be a DJ and a cookout with delicious food to follow! In addition to a chip-timed 5K run or walk, there will be activities for the children and an untimed (free) children’s race. There will also be a box to collect food donations!
- May 31st is the last day for early bird pricing. Register now to get $5 off ($30 registration)!
- Registration for 5K participants includes a t-shirt.
- Nonparticipants may purchase a t-shirt for an additional $5, added to their $17 registration.
- *Family discount* of $100 for family of four! Click "Sign Up" and scroll down to Multi-Person Pricing and select "Family of 4."

Awards
Awards will be given to the following age groups for both Male and Female for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.
Plaques will be given to overall top male & female.
Packet Pickup
- Packet pick-up is at Xtra Mile Running (31 W. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL) the Friday before the race.
- Onsite registration is also available at this time in the store.
- Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available at Busse Woods Grove #32 the day of the race from 7-7:45 a.m.
