Description
The 17th Annual Annie Ryan Run will take place on Sunday, June 5 in Elmhurst (York & South Roads). Catholic Charities is proud to be the charity beneficiary again this year. The family-friendly 5K and 1 Mile Kids Dash is held each year in memory of 12 year-old Annie Marie Ryan who passed away from a brain tumor in 1997. Former Attorney General for the State of Illinois, Jim Ryan, his wife, Marie, are the chairs of this race, along with their family. The Ryans have courageously turned their tragedy into hope for other children. Proceeds benefit the Children's Programs of Catholic Charities.
