Move For Your Heart

With the continued importance of social distancing stemming from the worldwide coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), our priority is the health and well-being of our community, volunteers, spectators, and sponsors.

The Paul W. Caine Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on helping make the Greater Evanston / Chicago North Shore area a better, happier place. We provide education and informational activities to increase public awareness of issues affecting the physical, emotional and financial health of the families in our community.

Our Move For Your Heart event will be held virtually from May 15, 2021 - August 31, 2021.  

What's a VIRTUAL Move For Your Heart?

This means you can do any form of activity that requires you to move, on any day between May 15 to June 30, at the location of your choice.  You can run on a treadmill, jog around the neighborhood, walk around the block, jump rope, or even walk in place at home.  

All registered participants will receive an official PWC Foundation face mask that will be mailed/delivered upon participant(s) registration.

All proceeds raised through this virtual event will go towards our youth scholarship program.

Participants must register by Aug 31, 2021 and post a picture of themselves wearing the PWC Foundation face mask to their Facebook and/or Instagram platforms using the hashtags (#PWCFoundation | #MoveForYourHeart | #MFYH) to be qualified for a raffle. Participants will be placed in a drawing based on the individual post made to Facebook and/or Instagram pages using one of the hashtags provided. All participants are asked to track steps or miles during activities.

The first drawing will be based on participants posts to Facebook and/or Instagram pages using the specified hashtag(s). There will be two winners (one male and one female).
The prize is a FitBit Watch for both winners.

The second drawing will be based on the number of steps or miles a participant has completed during their activities. These will be tracked through the race results tab where participants will submit miles or steps. Winners will be chosen based on the highest number of steps and miles, so please be sure to log them into the results tab in the top right hand corner of this event page.

There will be two winners for this drawing. One participant with the most steps and one participant with the most miles will each be awarded a $50 Amazon gift card.
