We can definitely agree that 2020 has brought along many challenges – including a lot of uncertainty for all of us.  BUT challenges also bring opportunity, and opportunity brings HOPE…for brighter days ahead!

At Marklund, we continued to keep that hope alive when preparing for the Eighth Annual Run, Walk & Roll 5K/1Mile in Geneva.   The health and safety of our participants, residents, volunteers and spectators remains our #1 priority!

After careful thought and consideration of the current circumstances – including guidance from the State and CDC, Marklund has decided to transition the Run, Walk & Roll 5K/1M into a VIRTUAL event this October.

But hey! VIRTUAL is not just sitting behind a screen – VIRTUAL is the opportunity to be active, while keeping ourselves and loved ones safe! We can create new memories, and celebrate Marklund together – wherever we are!  After the recent success of our Run, Walk & Roll 5K/1M event in Bloomingdale, we are more than prepared to bring the most exciting and interactive experience to everyone participating in our October event as well.
