Hornet Hustle

Event Description:

The Harvard Cross Country Team is collaborating with the library and community to host the first annual Hornet Hustle. A Lions Park 5K Fun Run & Cross Country Fundraiser. A community event to support our local cross country programs and celebrate the exciting expansion of the walking path at Lions Park!

On April 11th, 2026, Lions Park and the Public Library are partnering to extend the current walking path, creating even more space for fitness, family time, and outdoor fun. The new section of the path is set to be completed in the Spring, and we will kick off the project during our 5K event with a special ceremony hosted in collaboration with the library.

This event will be for competitive runners, casual joggers, or those who want to walk for a cause. This event is for everyone! 

Our Goal: 

Proceeds will directly benefit our cross-country teams. Helping cover travel merchandise for our athletes, training equipment, and more.

A great way to support student-athletes and our growing park system

We want to come together as a community to support our runners and celebrate new opportunities for health and wellness in Lions Park!

Packet Pickup: 

8:00 am on race day

Race Times:

1k Kids fun run/walk - 9:00 am

5k Fun run/walk- 9:30 am (Anticipated start)
