The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County's (CAC) annual Champions for Children 5K has gone virtual! While we’ll miss the camaraderie of seeing you in person, a virtual 5K means you can run anytime, anywhere, on a treadmill or the pavement, and still help kids in your community.
To participate, run, walk or even bike a 5K (3.1 miles) anytime between June 13-June 28 and submit your results. You’ll be staying active for a good cause, doing something fun with family, and 5K registrants will receive a finisher medal mailed directly to you post-race!
Your support will directly help children in your community who are forced to shelter in place with their abusers during the pandemic. Our entire staff is working hard to provide the best care possible for our clients now and to prepare for an increase in new clients once this over, but we need your help now more than ever.
Register as an individual, team or simply donate to the cause. Your donation helps us give children who have suffered physical and sexual abuse a place to heal.
Consider Fundraising- raise $250.00 by June 28th and you'll receive a CAC Tumbler!
The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC) serves as the leading resource to empower and heal children who have been impacted by abuse and prevent violence against children. Founded in 1989, the Center provides investigative, advocacy, medical, and therapeutic services for children who have been sexually or severely physically abused and the non-offending members of their families. All services are provided at no cost to families and are available in English and Spanish.
Last year, CAC provided free, confidential services for over 1,100 children and adults whose lives were impacted by child abuse and family violence.
Raise $250.00 by June 28th and you'll receive a CAC Tumbler! Use this fundraising guide to help you out!
