Description
Start off your entire day of Fourth of July festivities with The Run For Freedom 5k Run/Walk. Test your endurance on a beautiful summer morning and then stay for the parade afterwards. Refer 5 or more of your friends/family and receive $20 back! Be sure to use your referral code located in your confirmation email.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District's Run for Freedom 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk for Freedom takes place at 1041 Ridge Road, Homewood, IL 60430 on July 4, 2020. This fun community race begins at the Lions Club Pool Parking Lot and is open to runners of all ages and abilities. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and day of race registration is open until 7:55 a.m.
Awards for top three female and male overall finishers! Plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for top finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over will be given.
Register by June 20th to guarantee FREEDOM t-shirt and/or size.
Pre-Registration Fee: Run For Freedom 5K - $30 & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk For Freedom - $10
Pre-Registration Deadline: June 30th
After June 30th - Online Registration Fee: Run For Freedom 5K - $40 & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk For Freedom - $20
Packet Pickup: July 1st - 3rd @ H-F Racquet & Fitness Club from 8am – 5pm.
