Description
On Saturday September 21st, from 4pm-6pm, the Homewood Arts Council is holding the second annual 0.3k run. THE running event for the rest of us! Underachievers Welcome!
The September 21st event will start on Martin Avenue at Hickory Rd and will end in Martin Avenue Square. Run, Walk or Roll 365 Yards. This is a race for everyone. Costumes and silly outfits welcome and awarded.
The race will begin, well actually before the race begins, you'll get a delectable cold beer from Rabid Brewing. For a little inspiration, after a grueling 0.1 you can stop for a delicious Krispy Kreme donut and coffee. If you make it across the finish line you'll be awarded your medal and be treated to a wonderful, thirst quenching shot from Copper Still and a mouth watering hamburger from White Castle. If you have the energy, stick around for some music from the sensational band, Timeless. We'll announce our costume winners and give out the wonderful prizes shortly after.
All proceeds will benefit the Homewood Arts Council, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Don't forget that running the race in costume is not only welcome, it's rewarded. We'll be awarding a first and second place prize for the best costume in the race.
