Description
Join us Saturday, September 26 at 8:00 for a 5K run or walk through beautiful, tree-lined streets of Inverness. The course is slightly undulating, but a nice decline before the finish line. Or choose a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk at 8:50. Adults registered by Friday, September 11 will be entered into a raffle to win a pair of shoes of their choice at Dick Pond Athletics in Hoffman Estates. Children 14 and under who register early will be entered into a raffle to win a gift certificate to Pump It Up. In addition, all adults who register receive free admission for two adults to the Fall Fest both Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26. Fall Fest line-up includes: Friday, 5:00 pm, Bags tournament, dinner and country entertainment. Saturday's line-up begins at 12:00 noon with food, zip line, bounce house, pony rides, face painting, balloon artist, and DJ entertainment geared specifically for the children. Another Bags tournament at 5:00 and the Classic Rock entertainment begins at 7:00 p.m. Come join the fun!
Bib and t-shirt pick-up available Friday, 5:00 - 7:00 pm and race day beginning at 7:30 am.
Child care available during the 5K from 7:30 am - 9:00 am - must reserve in advance. Contact Jeannie Parry at 949-632-2059 to reserve a spot for your child.
Overall and age group prizes will be awarded. T-shirts are not guaranteed after September 11. Performance t-shirts for adult sizes.
