The Dawson Lake Dash is a 3.5 mile road race around the rolling hills of Dawson Lake in scenic Moraine View State Park in LeRoy, Illinois.
Runners, walkers, kids and pups are invited to participate.

5K early bird pricing is only $15
On 7/19 the price increases to $20
The untimed Kids Run, One Mile Walk & Puppy Prance is $10
Bib Pickup
Bib and tank pick-up is available at Fleet Feet Bloomington during regular store hours on Saturday.
Race day registration and bib pick-up will be at Moraine View on Sunday from 7:00 - 8:30 am.

AFTER the Technical Tank deadline - any extras will be available for $20 CASH PURCHASE on race day

The GPS race address is 27374 E 900 North Rd, Le Roy, IL 61752.
Turn right on the main park loop and follow the signs to the concession area/restaurant.
After the race, the park is a lovely place to spend the rest of your day!

Race will be chip timed by It's Race Time - runners will have a chip start and chip finish time.
This year's race will run in the REVERSE direction from the previous year - 2026 runs counterclockwise!
This event is open to walkers - we just ask that you complete the race within one hour.
Course will be open to park traffic.
Tanks are only offered for purchase to participants registered by July 18. By only ordering enough shirts for pre-registered runners we ensure a bigger donation to our charity. A limited quantity of extra tanks will be available for purchase on race day.
The Race Director may delay or cancel the event if the conditions on race day are unsafe or if given a directive by the State or County. In the event of a cancellation we will offer a partial refund or the opportunity to donate your race fee to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
