Virtual 5K For Guatemala

Want to run for a cause? How about helping break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education?

We are hosting a Virtual 5K to help support our mission to build a school for impoverished children in Guatemala. Every dollar raised from this event will 100% go towards the cause. We have raised almost $15k so far and our goal is to raise $50K by the end of Summer 2021.  

This is a virtual event and is open to the whole community. So feel free to invite your friends and family and to participate no matter where they live! You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and at the time & location of your choice. The goal is to go at your happy pace and keep moving forward while having a lot of fun! You can also post your race pictures and updates on your social media and tag @Cr3.ateGuatemala if you want. We will then showcase your results on our social media page. Please make sure to use #5KforGuatemala 🙂

Details:

• Starts on 11/30/2020 7:00 am to 12/7/2020 10 pm
• Distance 3.2 miles
• Upon your registration, you will be provided with a race bib via email
• Only $30 to register by 11/26, goes up to $35 after Thanksgiving
• When running use your preferred running app and track your distance
• After you are finish, take a screenshot of your time to post it on your social media and tag @Cr3ateGuatemala or email it to us at tahminasultana1824@gmail.com 

Giveaways:

• Top 3 people who finish the race first will also receive a custom glass water
• Top 3 fastest times will receive a special gift from SJB Crafts by Gaby
• All giveaways will be mailed to the participant by 12/20/2020
• Additional items will be available at purchase
