"Worthey" to Win

The North Clay FFA members wanted to help one of their own.  Macy Worthey, a 15 year old sophomore member, has had uncontrolled seizures since she was 10.  This has resulted in a loss of independence and freedom during a time that teens crave it the most!

Macy has seizures in the hallways, walking into school, next to the car waiting for her mom to back the car out of the garage, in the show ring, in her bed, in the shower and the list goes on.  The real danger is the fall with head and knee injuries from these uncontrolled seizures.

The FFA members are hosting a 5K and pork burger sale to raise money to help Macy get a seizure dog in hopes of being able to alert her so she can lower her self to the ground and give her both security and safety along with some greatly desired independence.
