Join us, wear red, and celebrate Edder with us.

In the early hours of November 2, 2025, the Normal Fire Department bravely responded to a house fire. The impact of that morning has been felt throughout our community, especially at Parkside Junior High School, where Edder had just completed his cross country season.

One year ago, our community came together and wore red for Edder. In the midst of unimaginable loss, we gathered to honor him, creating a beautiful reminder of the many lives he touched.

This year, we have the gift of gathering on his birthday – Sunday, November 8 – to reflect on the joy he brought to others and his love of running.
