The FIRE Foundation of Central Illinois is an independent nonprofit organization that makes grants to schools in the Diocese of Peoria. Your participation in our 5K makes it possible for schools to provide resources that empower learning and help students with special needs succeed. The FIRE Foundation of Central Illinois helps partner schools:
- Hire paraprofessionals
- Provide salaries for special education teachers
- Acquire assistive learning materials and technologies
- Provide training for teachers and staff
- General support for an inclusive education program
