Pecatonica Labor Day 5K

Join us for Pecatonica Labor Day 5K and Family Fun Run inspired by Pecatonica's Crooked River 5K.  This is the first annual race to be held the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, August 31st, 2024.  In full remembrance of the Crooked River 5K, the race will start at the Pecatonica Public Library, down to the Winnebago County Fairgrounds, follow along the Pecatonica River Bike Path and follows back to Pecatonica Public Library. The 5K run/ walk will start at 0800 with the Kids Fun Run starting at approximately 0900.  The Awards ceremony will be held at approximately 0930.  This event is being hosted by the Pecatonica Economic Development Committee in conjunction with the Pecatonica Labor Day Event.  

Pricing

$30.00 pre-registration for the 5K.  This is a family-friendly event with special pricing for youth 0-17 years old and participants 80 years old and above.  Rockford Road Runners discount applies.  No discounts will be honored on race day and pricing will increase $7.00.

Shirts and Medals

T-Shirts will be available from ****.  Shirts are guaranteed with race packet pick-up if registration is completed before ***.  Shirts may be available to order for anyone registering after that date and will be available for pickup 2 weeks after the race at Pecatonica Village Hall.
