COVID-19 Event Update

The 2020 9th Annual Run for the Brave 5k Run, Walk, Ruck is now a Virtual Event! All Participants will still receive an Event Shirt and Finishing Medal.

Our team is focused on reducing the risk to your health and safety. Seeing how the State of Illinois has banned all large events in the state through May 1 due to COVID-19 and the restrictions that are in place statewide. As well, foreseeing that an extended mandate may be coming, we have been working proactively over recent days for a resolution. Unfortunately, with so many events already planned Statewide, we are unable to reschedule/postpone in 2020. Run for the Brave 5k Run, Walk, Ruck will be changed to a Virtual Event. All participants will still receive an event shirt and a finishing medal. Since this is an essential fundraiser for the Operation Welcome You Home, NFP, and the Veterans we serve, we hope that you will still consider this as an option for you and your fellow runners!

There is still time ...
