Elks Run the Links

Proceeds to benefit Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation, the state Elks’s major project, which provides
services, treatment, or equipment to physically impaired children and their families.
RACE: 5K timed Run OR untimed Fun Run/Walk through the Pontiac Elks Golf Course.
Craft Beer and game stops every half mile. IDs will be checked at check-in by law enforcement.
REGISTRATION: Send form and payment to Pontiac Elks Run the Links, 204 N Somerset Dr. Pontiac, IL. 61764 Checks payable to Elks BPOE 1019. Must register by 9/15/16 to guarantee a t-shirt.
CHECK-IN AND SAME DAY REGISTRATION: 4:00-4:45pm at the Pontiac Elks (must have ID)
ENTRY: $25 (nonrefundable), same day registration $30
AWARDS: Top 2 males/females in age groups 35- and 36+
COMPLEMENTARY: Light refreshments and 3 drink tickets to the OCTOBERFEST Event are provided to runners.
EVENT: All participants and guests are invited to our OCTOBERFEST night which will include a meal, craft beer
tastings, and entertainment starting at 5pm. Meal tickets may be purchased at the club that evening.

Upon accepting my registration and in consideration of allowing me to enter this event, which I agree is at my own risk and entirely of my own free will, I hereby, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, waive, release, and discharge Pontiac Elks Lodge and Golf Course, race organizers, race volunteers, sponsors, and
promoters from any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any losses, injury, or other damage sustained in any
activities during or surrounding the event. I also agree that I will be liable for any wrongful damage to the Elks property while on the race course.
