Rochelle Community Hospital Hustle 5k Walk/Run

Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at our NEW location the Rochelle Community Hospital Health & Wellness Center, 900 N. Second Street, Rochelle.

It is time for the Rochelle Community Hospital Foundation "Hospital Hustle" 5K Walk/Run set for Saturday, June 1, 2019.  The race is not only a great fundraiser for the RCH Foundation but also a wonderful community builder.

Start/Finish will be in the Health & Wellness Center Parking Lot

Participant Parking will be available in the Hospital Employee Parking Lot.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Online Registration is now open through 3:00 p.m. May 31st, 2019.  Only race day registration will be available on June 1st and the fee increases to $30 from $25.  
Participants registered by May 26th will be guaranteed an event T-Shirt. Event T-Shirts may be available for participants registering after May 26th, however, supplies will be limited.
Youth age 18 and under have a discounted $15 registration fee. 
Participants may use one of three registration options to sign up for the event:  Online, mail in form, or race day.
 PACKET PICK UP and RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Pre-registered participants will be able to pick up their packets at Early Packet Pick Up, Friday, May 31st from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Rochelle Community Hospital by the Gift Shoppe at the 2nd Street entrance.
Day of the race registration and packet pick up on, Saturday, June 1st from 7:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. at Rochelle Community Hospital Health & Wellness Center.
 

COURSE / SAFETY - For the safety of our runners and walkers, no wheeled chair vehicles will be permitted on the race course (with the exception of baby joggers, strollers, and wheelchairs), this includes bicycles, scooters, and in-line skates.  If running or walking with a stroller, please be cautious and yield to others during the race.  There are no pets permitted on the course (with the exception of service animals).  Walkers are welcome and encouraged.  For the safety of all, walkers are asked to line up behind the runners.

CHIP TIMING  - Chip Timing will be offered again and this race will be timed and scored by J3 Timing.  Chips will be located on the tear-off tags of the bib you receive.  These tags will be collected at the race, so please do not remove anything from your bib.  This chip timing will provide more accurate results and placing which allows for a better race experience.

TEAMS  - need to have a minimum of 5 people with a team name and a team captain.  Team scoring will be based on the average time of the first 3 team members to cross the finish line.  Team captains can register and pay for the whole team online but waivers for all team members must be turned in before or on the day of the Hustle.  All teams will receive a discounted entry fee of $20 per person.

AWARDS - Awards will be presented within one hour after the race top overall male/female finishers. Top three team winners, and the first three male/female finishers in each of the following age categories:  0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over will be recognized.
