Join us for an action-packed weekend celebrating Armed Forces Day at the Rock Island Arsenal! The kids' races (100 yard dash, 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile) will take place on Friday evening, with the 5K and 10K on Saturday morning. This flat, fast course is perfect for chasing a personal best, set against the historic backdrop of the Rock Island Arsenal and the scenic Mississippi River.
Part of a full weekend of Armed Forces Day activities, including live music, food, vendors, military displays, a car show, and fireworks, Run the Rock is a fun, community-focused way to honor and support our armed forces while making memories with every step!

6:00pm-6:30pm: America’s Kids Run Events - 100 Yard Dash, 1/2 Mile Run, Mascot Race, 1&2 Mile Run
Saturday, May 16th
8:10AM – 5K/10K participants report to the starting line
8:55 AM – Welcome / Opening Remarks / Final instructions to runners
9:00AM – Race Begins!
9:45AM - 5K Awards Ceremony
