Description

The Epic Shamrock Beer Run 5k is back for another year of Beer Drinking! Like Running or Walking? Love awesome craft beer? This event is for you! Due to the popularity of this event, we have multiple wave start times between 11am-1pm (you'll pick your wave time during signup)

Enjoy a pint of your favorite beer after your 5K!!! Better yet, enjoy a pint before the 5K... Cheers to Drinking Beer!!!

This is a 21+ event only. No strollers, no kids, no one under 21 admitted.

*NEW THIS YEAR: Due to restrictions by the forest preserve, there will be no beer samples along the route this year. We will have a mini beer garden set up near the finish line and you will still be able to sample beers from all 5 craft breweries at the finish line, and participants still receive a pint of beer from their favorite brewer.

Race day pickup is available, but if you are able to attend packet pickup or send a friend we highly recommend picking up early to avoid the lines on race day.

New this year: Course beer is no longer allowed in the forest preserve. But don’t worry! Our charities will be set up near the start/finish line so you can still get a sample from each brewery before or after the race.

Course Map

The course is a nicely paved and mostly flat out and back course on the busse woods trail.
