2018 The Fast and The Furriest 5K

Please join us at beautiful Washington Park in Springfield, IL for a 5K Run and 5K Fun Run/Walk benefiting the Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control. Besides the 5K, there will also be a 5K fun run/walk for all ages and speeds. All proceeds from this 5K and fun run/walk will aid the efforts of Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control. Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control is dedicated to enriching the lives of, and eliminating the euthanasia of, adoptable pets in residence at Sangamon County Animal Control Center. If you are unable to participate please consider a donation.

Medals will be given to top male and female finishers and the top 2 winners of each age group for runners.

Age groups will be divided into the following male and female categories:

15 -19
20 – 29
30 – 39
40 – 49
50 – 59
60 - 69
70 and over
