PARKING!
Parking Inside Lincoln Park
Participant parking is available in these areas:
• Nelson Center parking lot
• Side lots along the main loop
• Designated grass areas beside the main loop
• Maintenance lot, provided the entrance and exit remain completely clear for park staff
If you park beside the main loop, your vehicle must be completely off the roadway and must not block or narrow the race route in any way. Please follow all directions from our parking volunteers.
Reserved Parking
The Lincoln Park Pavilion parking lot is reserved for race volunteers and vendors. Participant parking will not be permitted in this lot.
Important Safety Reminder
If you park anywhere inside Lincoln Park, you must remain parked until the race is over and volunteers have reopened the course.
Vehicles driving on the course would create a serious safety risk for our runners and walkers. While you wait, please visit the Race Village, cheer on the finishers and stay for the fun!
Parking Outside Lincoln Park
Additional parking is available:
• Along First Street before or after the hill
• Along Sangamon Avenue
• On neighborhood streets east of Fifth Street
Please park legally, do not double park and be careful not to block driveways.
Arriving After 7:20 AM?
Anyone arriving after 7:20 AM should plan to park outside Lincoln Park. Once parking inside the park is full, volunteers will redirect all incoming traffic to street parking.
Volunteers wearing safety vests will be available to help you find parking and answer questions. Please follow their directions so we can keep traffic moving safely and get everyone to the starting line on time.
Announcements begin at 7:40 AM, and the race starts promptly at 8:00 AM. Please give yourself plenty of extra time to park, walk to the Race Village and get ready.
Thank you for helping us keep race morning safe and organized. We can’t wait to see you on August 8!
