About: Rock and Run
Rock and Run for Mental Health is a live music, 5k, 1-mile fun run/walk and vendor event for charity supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention in Springfield, Illinois.
- Early bird registration opens on World Mental Health Day, Oct. 10, 2026. Location to be announced Oct. 10.
- Participants who register by Sunday, Aug. 15, 2027 receive a complimentary Rock & Run t-shirt. Medals are available at the finish line while supplies last.
- Charity beneficiary to be announced early 2027.

- Saturday Packet Pickup: At Miles T-shirts. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11.
- Race Day Packet Pickup: 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 at race location.
- Race start time: 9 a.m.
- Post-race party with bands and vendors: 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
- Giveaway item: T-shirt for those registered by Aug. 15, 2027. Must be picked up at packet pickup. Shipping not available.
- Medals: Available at the finish line while supplies last.
- Route: Out and back on trail.
- Awards: For first place in each age group and overall.
