Ladies!  Bring your mother, daughter, sister, other family member, colleague or friend and run or walk this beautiful two mile course through Washington Park. This race is for women and girls of all ages, whether you are a competitive runner or just plan to stroll through the park.

1. Registration closes at noon on Thursday, July 8, 2021.
There will be no paper registration at packet pickup or on race day.
Race shirt guarantee deadline for all participants is June 17, 2021; additional swag is available to the first 350 at curbside packet pickup while supplies last.
3. All participants will start at 8AM!  Although you signed up for a wave start time at registration, this is now no longer applicable with Illinois in Phase 5.  The start line will remain open for five minutes after the gun goes off to allow those who'd prefer a more distanced start the opportunity to do so.
4. Please note: There are no refunds.  If this race cannot be held as planned, all registrants will be converted to the Virtual Race option.

The Springfield Park District has lifted the requirement that the race be held in waves- this means we will return to a traditional start format (mass start) at 8:00 a.m.  However, we understand that not all participants might be comfortable with a large group, and we'd like to provide accommodations to support that.  Therefore, the start line will remain open for five minutes (until 8:05 a.m.) after the gun goes off.  This will allow those who prefer additional distance between them and others the opportunity to start the race in a more socially distanced fashion.  Your time starts when you cross the start line.  Age group awards will be based on net time.  (Please note, the overall race winner will still be based on gun time, the first person to cross the finish line is the winner, regardless of when starting.)

There will be bottled water, bananas, and pre-packaged snack bags in the finisher area.  Please grab your refreshments, proceed quickly out of the finisher area, gather your party and leave the park after finishing the race.  We really hate to rush you out, but it is important that folks plan to leave right after completing the race to limit the size of our gathering and comply with terms of the park permit.  We will plan for an extra fun party with lots of post-race socializing next year when hopefully COVID-19 is far behind us!

Participants who opted in during the registration process will receive a text message with their time shortly after crossing the finish line.
Results will also stream live throughout the morning and be available at: http://www.ItsRaceTime.com
Award categories are Overall, Masters, 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.  Award winners will be announced on the Springfield Road Runners Club Facebook page after all participants have finished.
Winners will be able to pick up their awards after all participants have finished.

Curbside packet pickup will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 4:00-6:30 pm at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 W. White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL.  Look for the SRRC signs & drive right up to pick up your packet; no need to exit your car.  Feel free to arrive anytime during the pickup time, but please be patient if it is busy and you must wait a few minutes for your items.

If you registered by the June 17 t-shirt deadline, we will have a shirt for you!  If you registered after June 17 but were still able to choose a shirt during online registration, we should have a shirt for you!  Please note you will receive the size you selected during registration.  If you registered after our shirt supply was exhausted, unfortunately, you will not receive a shirt.  We can only guarantee shirts for those registered by the June 17 deadline.  Additional race swag will be distributed with race packets on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

Please do your best to attend the Friday evening packet pickup.  You are welcome to have someone else pick up your packet for you if cannot make it.

Limited race day packet pickup will be available on race day morning in Washington Park at 7:00-7:45 a.m.
