REGISTER ON SITE AT THE RACE STARTING AT 6PM!

 

On November 1st the Midwest Museum of Natural History will be hosting our first ever 5K run the Coyote Crawl 5K Night Run on the grounds of the Sycamore Park District. Proceeds will help the Museum fulfill our mission of encouraging our community’s appreciation of natural history using shared experiences through collections, exhibits, and education.

 

  • 6:30 pm – Live Coyote, and other small North American mammal presentation by Big Run Wolf Ranch at the Sycamore Park District Clubhouse (940 E State St, Sycamore, IL 60178)
  • 8:00 p.m. – Race starts
  • After the Race – Party at the finish line with Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation, Sycamore Park District, Athletico Physical Therapy, Family Wellness, NIU Outdoor Adventures, and Ellwood House.

 

Prizes for overall top male and female finishers and for top male and female finishers by age group. All runners will receive a glow necklace, a long sleeve race shirt (sizes not guaranteed after October 31st) and light up pint glass with one free beer (over 21), or one free soft drink. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

 

All runners will receive a glow necklace but will have to bring their own flashlight to run with.

Runners under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult on site.
