Race Description
Kick off Pride Fest with purpose! Join us for our annual 5K Run/Walk, celebrating 41 years of community strength, health equity, and the fight to end HIV/AIDS in East Central Illinois.
Whether you run, walk, roll, or stroll, your participation directly supports individuals and families living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Every registration helps provide housing, healthcare, food, transportation, and emergency support to individuals who rely on GCAP’s services.
After you cross the finish line, stick around for our Resource Fair, featuring community organizations, wellness information, and activities! We’ll also have bagels, coffee, and morning refreshments provided by local business Good Judy’s Espresso & Bagel Bar.
Join us to stand against stigma, raise HIV/AIDS awareness, and kick off Pride Fest with pride, solidarity, and joy.

The event is rain or shine, and will only be altered or canceled in the event of severe weather or thunder.
Yes, on-site registration will be available!
No! You will have the opportunity to choose between participating in the full 5K or 1.5-mile route on your form or during check-in. Don't worry about getting lost—a volunteer will be stationed at the path fork to guide participants.
Absolutely! Kids 5 and under are free to participate, and families are warmly welcomed to enjoy the resource fair, games, snacks, and activities together.
Yes! Though we cannot guarantee we will have the exact size you want, we will have t-shirts available for purchase.
Walgreens will be on-site providing flu and COVID vaccines until 11:45 AM.
There are no refunds unless race insurance was purchased. However, you can request to transfer your registration to another participant.
