Like Running or Walking? Love Donuts? This race is for you!
Join us on Sunday, July 11, 2021 for an exciting new event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Danada Forest Preserve! This will be a socially distanced chip start race starting at 7am to allow for social distancing along with a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and the Baker's Dozen 13.1 challenge!
Registration includes: A race t-shirt, race bib, finisher medal and a special treat and an epic party at the end!
Baker's Dozen Division: For serious Donut Lovers, we also offer the Baker's Dozen Division which includes a donut at every mile on the half marathon course! If that wasn't award enough, participants who complete the challenge receive a Finisher's T-Shirt and special recognition at the finish line!

Awards: All half marathon participants receive a super sweet giant 6" finisher medal. All 5k and 10k participants will receivea 4" finisher medal. We also offer age group awards for top overall male and female, as well as top 3 in every age group (ten year age brackets)

Race day pickup will be available as well at the race from 6-6:45am. If you have a group of 5 or more, please email Auzzie@bodiesrc.com so we can pre-prep your packet.
Course Map
This race is mostly tree covered and follows a fast and flat route on crushed limestone trails. Ample aid stations are available, and Baker's Dozen participants will be greeted by 13 donut stops on the course!

Please Note: Lot 1 will fill before 6am and will be available for drop off only. There is ample parking in Lot 2, but please use the tunnel show below and do not cross the roadway

Unyielding in our commitment, we strengthen our community by supporting animal welfare, promoting rescue, and by developing programs that facilitate adoption and end the killing of companion animals.

FAQ's
SOCIAL DISTANCING UPDATE: This race will follow current local guidelines at the time of the event to ensure safety for participants, volunteers, and event staff. Currently our event includes:
- Extended Packet Pickup Hours (and group pickup options) Details will be available soon!
- Open Start Line All races will begin at 7:00 AM
- Open Area - start line and race staging will be spread out to maximize social distancing
- Results - posted online only, instant age group awards provided on site (no age group awards ceremony)
- Post Race Party - hosted in open outdoor venue area
- Free Transfer to Virtual Race. If conditions change, or you change your mind, we will ship your packet and swag to your address at no additional cost!
Are strollers allowed? Yes! The course is mainly grass for the first and last 0.25 miles, but the rest of the course is on crushed limestone paths and is suitable for running strollers!
Is walking allowed? Yes! The course is fast and flat for competitive runners, but we also LITERALLY cater to the fun runners and walkers at this event!
Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.
Do I have to Eat Donuts? Not a donut lover? That's definitely fine too. If you're just there to run or walk we won't judge. We just ask that you also:
