Description
Throw on your neon and glow sticks and race through luminary lanes at the 10th Annual Light the Torch 5K Night Run! Presented in partnership by the Wheaton Park District and FT Cares Foundation, this 5K run/walk is a unique race through downtown Wheaton after sunset and supports some amazing causes. After the race, participants can enjoy live entertainment, carnival rides, crafts, and a food and beer garden at October Fest, hosted by DuPage County Historical Museum!
Come decked out to celebrate 10 years of this amazing race! If this run wasn’t flashy enough, our glow giveaways should do the trick. Got your own light-up necklaces, bracelets, rings, or headbands? What about a pair of those awesome shoes that change colors with each step you take? The more glow, the better. Registration includes a commemorative shirt and glow giveaways. Shirt sizes are first-come, first-served.
This is a chip-timed race. Overall winners and individual age category winners are determined by chip time.
