Race through luminary lanes at the Light the Torch 5K Night Run and end with live entertainment, carnival rides, food and beer garden at October Fest hosted by DuPage County Historical Museum! Presented in partnership by the Wheaton Park District and FT Cares Foundation, this 5K run/walk is a unique race through downtown Wheaton after sunset.
If this run wasn’t flashy enough, our glow giveaways should do the trick. Got your own light-up necklaces, bracelets, rings, or headbands? What about a pair of those awesome shoes that change colors with each step you take? Come decked out! The more glow, the better. Registration includes a commemorative shirt and glow giveaways. Shirt sizes are first-come, first-served.
This is a timed race and runner bibs are chipped. Overall winners and individual age category winners are determined by chip time.
