Event Description
SECC Trick or Treat 5K – Virtual Race
Join the SECC Trick or Treat 5K virtually from Saturday, October 25 through Sunday, November 2! Complete your 5K anytime and anywhere on your favorite trail, around your neighborhood while trick-or-treating, or even on a treadmill.
After completing your registration, get ready for your virtual race. Between October 25 and November 2, complete your 5K, track your time using a smartphone, smartwatch, or similar device, and submit your results on the RunSignUp website. If you opted in for email notifications during registration, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on how and where to upload your results.
Starting October 25, you can also upload and share your virtual race photos under the “Photo” tab on our website. Photos will automatically appear once submitted.
Be sure to submit your results and photos before November 2 to be included in the official results!
Registration is open now and closes Sunday, October 19 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
This race is part of the State Employees Community Campaign (SECC), which runs from September 11 through November 7. The campaign gives State of Indiana employees the opportunity to set up recurring donations and participate in fundraising events, all working toward the goal of raising $1.5 million. Sponsored by the Indiana State Personnel Department, proceeds from this race benefit the Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN). ICAN provides highly trained service dogs to individuals with disabilities, helping them gain greater independence. Find out more at icandog.org.

Race Entry (No Swag) – Support the cause and upload your virtual results and photos through the RunSignUp website without additional race swag. $15
