VIRTUAL EVENT INFORMATION

EVENT DETAILS

DATE: Complete your race anytime between Saturday, October 25, 2025, and Sunday, November 2, 2025

TIME: Anytime that works for you!

LOCATION: Any city, any time—you choose! Run on your favorite trail, neighborhood street while trick or treating, or even your treadmill.

CHARITY: The race proceeds support the Indiana Canine Assistance Network (ICAN)!

Who can participate? 

The primary audience for SECC events is State employees, but friends and family are welcome to register for this event.

Only State employees can pick up race swag but can pick it up on behalf of friends and family.

The mailing option is available to everyone.

How the Virtual Race Works

  • Complete your 5K anytime between October 25 and November 2.

  • Track your time using a smartphone, smartwatch, or similar device.

  • Submit your results on the RunSignUp website.

Submitting Your Results

If you opted in for email notifications:

  • You’ll receive step-by-step instructions via email on October 25 with guidance on how and where to upload your results.

If you did NOT opt in for email notifications:

  1. Go to the RunSignUp website.

  2. Log in using the same email address you used to register.

  3. Navigate to your Registered Races page.

  4. Click on the SECC Trick or Treat 5K.

  5. Select Submit Virtual Results and enter your finish time.

Uploading Photos

  • Starting October 25, all participants can upload and share virtual race photos under the “Photo” tab on our website.

  • Photos will automatically appear on the website once submitted.

Important Deadline

  • Make sure to submit your results and photos before November 2 to be included in the official results.
