As part of Cicero’s Triathlon Weekend, Heartland Endurance Sports is hosting the 2nd Annual K3 Cicero Youth Triathlon that takes place at 9:00am, on Sunday, June 21, 2015, after the 8:00am Cicero Strawberry Sprint 5K. This chip-timed, USA Triathlon sanctioned race will start with a swim in the pool at Cicero’s Red Bridge Park, a bike ride through rolling residential streets, before returning to the picturesque little park by the lake for the run. All pre-registered athletes will receive a t-shirt, collectible bib number, and a finisher’s medal.

After the race, please be sure to stick around, and cheer for the other athletes and eat some strawberry shortcake. Yep, strawberry shortcake! You just raced a triathlon! You’re hungry? You bet you are! When registering, be sure to sign up for the strawberry shortcake after the run, because you deserve it!

The proceeds from this event will benefiting Hamilton North Chamber of Commerce.

Price Schedule:
$35 until June 7, 2015 – Regular Registration
$40 until June 14, 2015 – Late Registration
$45 until June 18, 2015 – Emergency Registration

Awards: All athletes will receive a finisher’s medal. 1st through 3rd place age group awards will be given to the following ages ranges 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15.

Race week and race day cost is $45. Sign up early to save! All pre-registered athletes will receive a t-shirt, collectible bib number, and a finisher’s medal.

Packet Pickup: An email with packet pickup directions/location will be sent when plans for this are finalized.

Race Day: We will be onsite by 6:30am for packet and chip pickup, as well as race day registration, if the event has not sold out. To ensure we can start the race on time, please plan to be onsite at least an hour prior to race to pick up your timing chip. Please note, we may not be able to allow race day registrations for the K3 Cicero Youth Triathlon after 7:30am, due to the start of the Strawberry Sprint 5K adult race at 8:00AM. Additionally, we may not be able to allow check in within 30 minutes of the youth race start at 9am. Check-in will be at the blue tent near the finish line.

Parking: The Park has parking available for about 150 cars. Please note, entry into the park will be limited after the start of the Strawberry Sprint 5K, at 8AM. If you arrive after this, you may be required to park across the bridge in town. Should the parking lot become full, you will be directed where to park. Please arrive early!
