CCPD Cops and Robbers 5k

The CCPD Cops and Robbers 5k is an interactive race where participants can choose to sign up as a Cop or a Robber.   Robbers will be issued arm band flags constructed of crime scene tape and the Cops mission is to "arrest" the Robber by pulling on the flag.  At the end of the race arrests will be tallied to determine the "Top Cops".  Robbers who do not get arrested and make it across the finish line with their arm band flag intact will receive a prize.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will still be given to all participants (Cops and Robbers) based on age group regardless of arrest or not. 

COPS will chase Robbers to make an arrest by pulling the arm band flag off. Additionally, NO PHYSICAL CONTACT will be allowed. Awards will be given to the top 3 cops with the most arrests. Cops must take their Robber's arm band to the "jail" for booking upon crossing the finish line... their job is done. No arrests can be made on any robber after they cross the finish line. They WILL get caught at a later date.

 ROBBERS only mission is to get away from the Cops... and to get across the finish line with their arm band flag still intact. No type of modification can be done to the arm band flag to make it inaccessible (i.e. tucking, looping, or holding it with the other hand, etc.)… you just have to RUN. Additionally, NO PHYSICAL CONTACT will be allowed. Awards will be given to all Robbers who cross the finish line with arm band flag still intact.
