Blue River Services Zombie 5k- Walk, Run or Roll!

Imagine a world overrun with zombies... there's only one thing left to do... walk, run or roll a 5K for Blue River Services! 

Whether you participate as a zombie or survivor join us at Hayswood Nature Preserve on October 29th to run for your life! Prepare yourself for a day of fun, costume contests and of course... brains! For those folks who are zombie averse, there will be a delayed start that will allow you to not cross paths with zombies. Please note, this will not be a professionally timed race. 

This family friendly walk, run or roll supports over 20,000 individuals throughout Indiana, focusing on serving youth and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. All funds raised go towards supporting and growing Blue River Services programs and enriching the lives of people with disabilities.

The costume contest to be judged prior to the event start. Costumes can range from spooky to silly but please note this is a FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT.  Furry friends are also welcome. Costume contest participants will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

-Zombie Crawl to kickoff at 10AM

This year, we are partnering with WaterStep, a Louisville non-profit that provides fresh water to countries most in need through the donation of shoes! For every three pairs of shoes donated to WaterStep, they are able to provide safe water to one individual for life! If interested, please bring gently used shoes of any kind to our run to donate and help provide water to those who need it most.
