Run Like a Mother 5K | Hometown Happenings

Sons and daughters and kids of all ages, run a 5K to honor your Mom.  Make this your best Mother's Day while helping Moms in need!  At the event: 

*  FREE Admission to Hometown Mother's Day Market
*  Finisher Medal for First 500 participants!  Either keep or GIVE your Medal to a Mom you feel is a Superhero!

*  Handmade Race Awards from the pre-schoolers at St. Mary’s School for Top Overall & Top 3 Finishers in each Age Group
*  Supporting St. Jude House & Mommy’s Haven
Please consider donating items to moms in need:  laundry detergent, diapers size 4,5, & 6, Pull ups size 3t/4t and 4t/5t, toliet paper, paper towels, baby wipes, shampoo/conditioner, body wash & toothpaste.

COST thru May 13th: $25 Adults for timed & non-timed 5K.  $20 for kids 12 & under. Under 3 is free.  Event day: $30.  Short sleeve shirts extra $15 thru May 4th & not included in entry.  Strollers welcome.

PACKET PICK-UP:  Race day morning 7-7:40 a.m.

COURSE:  A timed 5K Run/Walk or a 1 Mile Fun Walk taking place through the Fairgrounds.  Included along this wooded route is a covered bridge, historic buildings and a scenic lake.

RACE AWARDS:  Top Overall, Top Master (40+), Clydesdale (Men 210+ lbs), Athena (Women 170+ lbs), Top Three finishers in each age group.  Age divisions: 0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Please note:  No refunds will be given due to weather or for any other reason.  You also can NOT transfer your registration after May 1st.  If you do not pick up your shirt at the event, unclaimed shirts will be sold after the run.   If you have any questions, please contact Tim@yourhometownevents.com
