This Event Has Been Changed to A Virtual 5k
Due to stay at home restrictions and health mandates and recommendations, this race will not be hosted live. We are switching to a virtual 5k race (see info below) which we hope you'll join us at, but also understand if you would like to request a refund. Please complete the survey options below to indicate which direction you would like to proceed, and we hope to have a 5k rescheduled for Fall 2020! If we are able to race this Fall, anyone who already received race swag through the virtual option will obtain a free entry to the live event!

Enjoy wine and running or walking? This is a must do event for you!
Race Swag: All participants will receive a race t-shirt, souvenir wine glass, finisher wine medal and a glass of wine after the race! This event is for people 21 and over due to wine being involved.
Join us on Sunday, June 7th, 2020 at 9:00 am for an exciting new event that features the scenic views of Lake County Fairgrounds and the great Wine produced by locally owned by Manic Meadery. With registration options for all wine lovers, runners and walkers, this race is a sure thing for a great time! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing and results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.
Awards: All participants will receive a finisher wine medal. This is not a competitive race but it will be timed for those interested in their time.
2 Registration Options Available:
1) 5K Run/Walk
Like wine and running or walking... just not at the same time? Run or walk the 5k course with the rest of the field, then enjoy a full pour at the finish line with your friends!
2) 0.0 K Race
Spectators are also encouraged to attend! The 0k option gains you access to the race and includes a full pour and a souvenir wine glass.. and you don't even have to run!
This race benefits local charity.
FAQ's
- Is the race only for 21+? Yes, due to the event having alcohol we will limit this event to people over 21.
- Is walking allowed? Yes, walkers are allowed and encouraged to participate!
- Are strollers allowed? Yes
- When is packet pickup? We will hold packet pickup from 4-7pm on Friday the day before the race. If you can't make packet pickup that's okay you can pickup your packets the morning of the race.
- If I refer 20 people do I really get 10 bottles of wine and $25 back of my registration? Yes! We have the best runner referral program!!
- Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.
- Wine's cool, but I prefer Beer! That's not a question... but if we get enough requests we will look into adding a beer option!

Test of Might Challenge
Feel free to “hang” out with The Test Of Might at the Manic Meadery Wine Run 5k and give yourself an opportunity to walk away with $200! We challenge you to test your might against our pull up bar! If you're strong enough to simply hang from the bar without falling off for 120 seconds then you'll win a grand prize of $200. So come on down and test your might! We look forward to seeing you.
