|Amazing Elkhart Race||
Time8:00AM EDT - 12:00PM EDT
The Amazing Elkhart Race is a team-building, scavenger hunt event race that will be held at various locations around Elkhart, IN. The idea is that teams of four would travel from station to station to complete physical and mental challenges in order to earn points. The teams with the most points at the ends wins.
The challenges are somewhat random, so it is difficult to train for them in advance, but working as a team will help you accomplish the tasks quickly. You'll have about three hours plus to complete twelve stations, or as many as you can within that time. Some tasks can earn you more points than others, so there is strategy involved, although you will not know what the tasks are until you arrive at the station.
This is a fundraiser for Church Community Services (CCS) , a local NFP. CCS provides an emergency food pantry and financial assistance to locals to make ends meet, but also has two empowerment programs - one for men and one for women- to teach interpersonal, business and financial skills to break the cycle of poverty.
