Ellettsville 5K

5K race for runners and walkers with a free kids' pre-race 1-mile fun run. Fun run starts at 8:00 AM and 5K at 8:30 AM. Flat, out and back course on Karst Park Greenway Trail. Second annual race and part of the Mag 7 Series. T-shirts are available for the first 150 entrants who register by no later than September 10. Overall and age group awards and random drawings for door prizes after the race for both 5K runners and walkers. Added this year: Fun photo opportunity boards and "Ring that Bell" feature (including special prize) for anyone breaking the overall or any age group record. Proceeds, after costs, will be used to sponsor future Ellettsville sporting or recreational events. Parking for the race will be at the west side of the Ferrellgas office parking lot (701 E. Temperance Street), Edward Jones (5933 IN-46), Ellettsville Dental Center (5915 IN-46), Campbell's Park and Marci Jane Lewis Park (105 South Park Street).    

Race packet pickup will be at the following dates, times and locations:

• Friday (9/20/2024) - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM - At the shelter in Marci Jane Lewis Park (adjacent to Street Department building)    
• Saturday (9/21/2024) - Starting at 7:30 AM - At the race site near the start/finish line
