The world is getting back to normal in steps... and this is a step back to normal running events: the Freedom Solo Run!
Another virtual run? Not really. Everyone will run or walk the same physical 5K or 11M course so that everyone is compared on the same distance (Four Freedoms Monument out and back on Greenway - see race map in app), just at whatever date/time is convenient to you. And all the while maintaining social distancing and keeping each other safe.
RegistrationHow does this work?
1. Register here. It's only $5 or $10.
2. One you get your confirmation email, take note of your automatically assigned bib number (you'll need that later).
3. Download the RaceJoy mobile app. This will allow you to have the course map with you and will allow you to record your finish time by GPS and automatically have your result uploaded.
Using the app, your time will be automatically recorded and uploaded. No need to email us. (There is a place to submit your time should something go wrong with your auto timing.)
Since the course can't be marked like normal, the app will also give you audio cues as to where to turn and will give you audio time checks at each mile.
What's The Race Premium?
Complete the 5K run and you'll have your choice of any race shirt OR race medal from past events that we'll make available at Ultimate Fit.
Complete the 11M course and you can choose two items!
Just show the staff there your Freedom Solo Run result on your phone and they will point you in the right direction. Sizes and selection may be limited.
