Join the Appleseeds for their cross-country debut at Purdue Fort Wayne!
Our Appleseeds Youth Running Club will be hosting a kids cross country race on Friday, June 24th. We are offering both one-mile and 3k distance options for our participants. The one-mile race is intended for elementary schoolers and beginning runners. The 3k is intended for middle schoolers or more experienced youngsters. Parents are welcome to run with their children, just veer off and do not go through the finish line. Check-in will begin at 5:15 pm at the barn.
The Purdue Fort Wayne Cross Country course shares parking lots with The Plex North. The best way to get there is to turn onto Paul Schaffer Drive from Coliseum Blvd. You will then turn right onto California Road and then take your first left into the complex. The barn for check-in will be on your left, the parking lots will be up ahead to the right.
Mile - 5:45 pm, 3k - 6:00 pm
This will be a low-key race; no chips, no swag, no age groups. Just good old fashioned cross-country racin'.
