Miles for Meows

Miles for Meows is a virtual race to help raise funds for our TNR (trap-neuter & return) program in the City of Gary.  Our goal is to raise $1000.00 and log 1000 miles by April  15th to help save 100 free-roaming (feral) cats with life-saving spay/neuter surgeries.  The funds that we raise through this initiative will be matched by a grant that will help us reach our goal.  Why is spay/neuter important?  It helps to curb overpopulation, eliminates aggression and the spread of disease, starvation, and abuse.  

This is a virtual race.  You can walk/run from anywhere you are.  Use your daily walking steps to rack up your miles.  Use a  step counter, health app or our Best Friends App (https://www.cause4pawsgary.org/support).  We are seeking at least 100 racers to pledge $10.00 and 10 miles to help us reach that goal!  Post a picture of your miles each day on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/miles4meows. We hope that we can count on you for our Miles for Meows!  Remember, you can count the steps that you take every day!
