Location: Oak Ridge Prairie County Park, 301 S. Colfax St. Griffith In, 46323
Date: Saturday, August 17, 2013
Time: Race starts at 8:00 AM (CST)
Registration: Online: Active.com and TH Timing. Race Day: Registration & packet pick up from 7:00 am - 7:45 am
Course: The race is located inside Scenic Oak Ridge Prairie. It is primarily on grass and wooded trails with a short distance on paved biked trail. It is also flat and shaded in some areas for a smooth and fun trail half marathon experience. The course loops around a small lake and just for fun we added on small hill to keep everyone honest. After all, it is not any fun if you don't run up at least one hill. (But it is a small one..We promise!)
Parking: There may be a park entrance fee. That fee may vary per county or state in which you reside in. We recommend carpooling if possible.
Proceeds: Proceeds of this race will go to the Lake County Parks. It's our way of saying "Thanks" for allowing us to put on this race for you.
