Virtual World Changers 5k Walk/Run!
Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, we have decided to switch the walk/run to a virtual race! Registrants can individually walk or run the 5 kilometers on their own on a treadmill, nature trail, or wherever they prefer! We invite you to join us, get your friends together, wear your World Changers 5k t-shirts, and walk or run for the most vulnerable of society in Ghana, Uganda, and the Congo! You may walk or run any time during the week of May 14-18!
When you complete, take a picture and share it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #WorldChangers5kvirtualrace, and tag our Facebook or Instagram page, Every Child Ministries! (If you are not on FB or IG, you may also email us your pictures at info@ecmafrica.org!) We will have a drawing for gift cards on Tuesday May 19, 2020 once the race is completed by all participants. Please share with your friends and family! We don't have to let the current health crisis keep us from running for a great cause. However, we do encourage social distancing if you run/walk with others, just to be on the safe side!
**Please note, we will not post race results; you are responsible for tracking your own mileage and time. There are several free apps that you can use to track this: Map my walk, Map my run, Walkmeter, Argus, FitBit app, Endomondo, Virtual Walk, and Charity Miles are just a few options.
*Also, we are not able to ship T-shirts overseas at this time.
