Best Buddies Friendship Walk/5K

The Friendship Walk/5K is the latest and greatest life-changing movement created by Best Buddies. Since 2009, more than 55,000 participants have walked/run in over 26 states and 3 countries, raising over 5 million dollars for Best Buddies.  Best Buddies mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Ultimately, the Friendship Walk/5K changes lives, as participants walk/run for inclusion, friendship, leadership, and opportunity for people with and without IDD. Every Friendship Walk/5K promotes an atmosphere for new friendships, promising opportunities, and most of all, inclusion for all people. This is where you can make a difference!
