Dear Participants,

It is with great disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of Dash with Dave 2026 due to dangerous heat index conditions. This decision was not made lightly, but the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and staff must come first. With large crowds expected and limited indoor space available, we feel this is the safest course of action.

We are truly sorry for this outcome and share in your disappointment. We know how much excitement and preparation went into today's event, and we were looking forward to celebrating with all of you.

For those who still need to pick up their Dash with Dave T-shirt, employees and contractors may stop by the LIFE Fitness Center during operating hours today (9/17) to pick up their shirt. Employees and contractors may also pick up shirts on behalf of any non-employee participant. Additional information regarding shirt distribution will be shared soon for anyone who is unable to do so.

We ask that you please help us spread the word wherever you can. If you know fellow participants, volunteers, family members, friends, or coworkers who planned to attend, please share this update to help ensure everyone receives this important information.

Again, we sincerely apologize and share in the disappointment of today's cancellation. We greatly appreciate your understanding, patience, and support as we prioritize the safety of our community.
