Join us on Saturday, March 9th at 9:00am for the 2024 Great North Run & Fitness Fair! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a power walker, or just looking for a fun, family-friendly community activity, this event is for you!
Participants of all ages and abilities can choose between the 10k*, 5k or 1k Family Fun Run. And once you cross the finish line, make sure to stick around as North Central High School comes to life with dozens of area vendors and free, interactive activities for the whole family! We hope to see you at the starting line on March 9th!

Start Times
--- 10K - 9:00am (Timed Only)
--- 5k - 9:25am (Option to be timed)
--- Fun Run - 9:30am (Untimed Only) The Family Fun Run is a 1K (10 minute walk–5-7 minute run) that begins and ends next to North Central and has interactive, family-friendly, and F-U-N stations along the way!*
*12 minute/mile pace is required for 10k only
Participant Shirts (Optional add-on)
Shirts are not included in registration and should be purchased separately. Shirt orders must be placed by NOON on February 23. Shirts will NOT be shipped, and must be picked up during Packet Pick-Up on March 8 or 9.

Long Sleeve Shirt (Performance)

Packet Pickup Options
Friday, March 8
North Central H.S. from 4:30pm to 7:00pm
Please use Door 1 on north side of the building and follow signs to packet pick up site.
Saturday, March 9
North Central H.S. - from 7:30am to 8:45am
Please use the west side Door 31 for entrance into building.

Parking & Gear Check (Raceday only)
Parking
Please use the westside lots of North Central H.S. There will be signage pointing to available lots. All parking is FREE.
Gear Check
A secure gear check is available for all race and fitness fair participants on raceday. Gear check is located in room L249, in the hallway connecting bib pick up and the Fitness Fair.
Please note that due to campus construction, it is possible that parking and door assignments might need to be adjusted before race day. Be sure to look for final event confirmation and details in your inbox the week of March 4th!

*Must maintain a 12 minute mile for the 10K
Stroller Policy
Strollers are welcome at this event. Please line up toward the back as you begin.
Give Money Directly Back to Your School!
A portion of every registration will be given directly back to your designated school. The more registrations a school has the larger the check will be!
